Fragment number Vinzent 117
Klostermann 82
Rettb. 72
Ancient source used Eusebius, Against Marcellus 1.4.
Modern edition M. Vinzent, Markell von Ankyra: Die Fragmente (Leiden, 1997).

For since he dared to “divide the Word from God” and call the Word “a different god, separate from the Father with respect to both essence and power” it is easy for us to clearly learn into how much blasphemy he has fallen from the words he has written. For he has written with these words as follows: “And of course the image and that which the image is of are not considered to be one and the same thing but two essences and two entities and two powers and have just as many names as well.”
