1. We permit no one of either sex to marry a spouse from blood relatives or relatives of a spouse as for as the seventh degree of relation, or be defiled by the pollution of incest.
2. Furthermore, we also add this because, just as it is not allowed for a Christian to marry a spouse from his blood relatives, so also it is not allowed for him to marry a spouse from the blood relatives of his wife because of the union of the flesh.
