Notes: The authenticity of this work has long been disputed. Mayer includes it in her list of Chrysostom’s works, believing that part of it may be genuine. Other scholars such as Savile, Tillemont, Montfaucon, Haidacher, and Dekkers have considered it genuine. Wilmart, Altaner, and Voicu have considered it spurious.
