Therefore since we have spoken about what came at the beginning, it now follows that we also fill in the rest. And what remains concerns the mountains and the hills. For he says, “Before the mountains were laid, and before all the hills, he begot me” (Pro 8:25). He calls the apostles and their successors mountains and hills to show by the proverb their way of life which is righteous in comparison to that of other men.
