But it appears that the Father is in the Word, even if it does not seem so to Asterius and to those who think the same things he does. For it does seem so to the divinely inspired prophet Isaiah, who said through the Holy Spirit, “And they will worship you, and in you they will pray. For God is in you, and there is no one else besides you, for you are God” (Is 45:14,15). You see how he roots out and destroys the cunning wickedness of the false teachers.
