Fragment number Vinzent Pr.
Klostermann 128
Ancient source used Eusebius, On Ecclesiastical Theology Pref. (Ep. ad Flacillam)
Modern edition Klostermann/Hansen, Eusebius Werke IV GCS.
Reconstructed here from Eusebius’ paraphrase, Marcellus explains why his lengthy writing is contained in a single book and not instead sub-divided.

I arranged it in one large treatise in order to make God known as one. Otherwise, if I divided up the writing, it might go unnoticed as I place the Son of God within his hypostasis.
